Feature Value Added Service: Pinnacle, The Preneed Development Group Training Program

The Assurant Preneed Development Group has introduced Pinnacle…a new training program that meets the specific needs of funeral firms and preneed staff by allowing them to select and tailor programs that parallel their firm’s philosophies and staff learning styles.

The three module training program is customized for your preneed staff.

  • Module 1, Basic Sales Skills, focuses on the sales basics and allows the Preneed Development Group specialist to design a program that meets your preneed staff’s specific needs.


  • Module 2, Prearrangement Conference Options, provides several interactive programs that generate dialogue with families about end-of-life planning.


  • Module 3, Professional Development, provides support for preneed staff on an ongoing basis including field training from Preneed Development Group specialists, opportunities to work one-on-one with a personal coach, learn new techniques by attending regional workshops and participate in new lead generation programs and web conferences enabling them to learn from industry experts, as well as their peers.

The following new benefits will be available for applications submitted on or after October 10, 2005: extended issue ages on time pay plans, premium discounts for automatic payments, 12-year time pay plan with renewal commissions and an updated premium card
